This is in the hope to encourage safer, and more sustainable work environments for creatives of colour and culturally imperative narratives, with an approach that centres the voices and experiences of marginalised communities.

The role of dramaturg on the development of this new play exploring mother-daughter relationships through a Filipinx cultural lens allowed an inspection of historical presentations of these relationships as well as decolonial practices, synthesised into a progress presentation.

A tailored package was delivered for Darlinghurst Theatre Company in their production of Maggie Stone focusing on a Sudanese family as their fate becomes entwined with that of a strongly-opinionated loans officer.

Through Outhouse Theatre’s Australian premiere production of The Rolling Stone by Chris Urch, a curated approach was delivered encapsulating community outreach with the vibrant Afro-Australian community.

Working with cross disciplinary Filipinx Australian artists in a dramaturgical role that provided a culturally-sensitive outside eye to the dramatic mechanics of the work during development, leading to presentation.
